Has anyone heard about this? My daughter went to the river this past weekend, Parker. On the way out of Parker they were stopped at the check point and they said they had to look at the anchor.
There was one of these little bugs on the anchor so they had to get ahold of someone to come out. Checked the whole boat and still the expert guy didn't arrive. They were told they may have to leave their boat there.
Anyway the guy finally made it out and released the boat. They were there for about 40 minutes

Here is another weird part. Every store they went into this weekend had a flier on it for the red and white boat that hit and killed that HB man last weekend. Looking for any leads.
When they were at the check point they said something about not seeing a flier there and the officer said they didn't hear anything about it. wtf?

Just be sure the plug is pulled prior tomhitting the checkpoint and you shouldn't have any users thru it.

Be sure drain plug is out, if possible run engine after on trailer to blow the little buggers out of exhaust and check the anchor

Yep... if there are any in your pump they pressure wash it on the spot. But as others have said, it has been going on for a few years now.

This will probaly be the only time I can agree with Gnomeally. If you boat is clean and anchor and plug is out. You won't have a problem.
Told ya...
Im growing on you already..

We stay in Blythe and cross over the bridge to AZ for gas every weekend because its cheaper and on the way back over they check ours every time. Funny thing, they must not know what they are looking for because we always close the jet when we travel and they go back there and look at it and say "you're good". Dumb arses dont even look for the mussel thingy.

You can run it for a short time... no more than 15 seconds at a time and you're way fine.
