Want to nominate (glamis family of 4)We went to pismo this weekend and they saw us roll in came up in the buggy and invited us to their camp,We have never met before and was very cool to camp with them and our kids enjoyed plating together.

Any how on our ride late saturday i had a throttle stick on my buggy basically pushed in the clutch to stop momentum and shut off motor but it was too late gas wide open and motor revved too high began to knock befor shut down. started motor again to be sure what i heard was right,We were back in the dunes aways from beach and they offered to tow my car back to camp without hesitation.I am sure it was going to be hard to do so with a vw powered rail and a full car but they did a great job and we all got back to camp safely.

I nonimate SUPREME AIR (Aaron) GREAT GUY and Friend

my wife and kids were in Pismo without me for a few days because of work. Her ATM card didn't work and she needed a few bucks until I got back.........Fast Forward, I called Aaron....mind you I just know him from the site and thru friends (didnt even know his last name!) He says....how much and No problem!!!!

30 minutes later, she is in his driveway and he gets her the $$$$$$ and off to the Hot Wheel races they go!!!!!

That is a great friend 4 sure. He also let me know that if they needed ANYTHING while I was gone to just give him a call!!!!

It was a great feeling to have such reassurance for my family while I was away working and they were away from home!!!!

Thanks Supreme Air!!!!

I would like to nominate Yummi for starting the thread about getting more American flags on our toys out in the dunes. He inspired me to change my flag to the good ol’ stars and stripes as well as many others not the mention the generous gift of the flags and shipping them to whoever wanted them without asking or expecting any kind of reimbursement.

X3

And his thread hoping to encourage others to submit comments of their own regarding the 2010 DRAMP Yummi Thread

I LOVE seeing someone not just sit, b!tch and moan about something. He's taking a proactive stance helping and hoping to CHANGE the future. He's actually DOING something. My vote is for Yummi!

Thank you for the kind words. Glad you elected to make the switch with me.

See you all in the dunes: I will be the one with the American Flag...errr, well....don't worry - we will figure it out.

Now all we have to do is ensure we still have a place to ride and use the flags.......http://www.glamisdunes.com/invision/index....howtopic=212716

All good nominations and it's the middle of the summer.

Some really deserving nominations this month! I need to throw one more in.

Several years ago a man put one foot in front of the other and continued to do so until the Compound became a reality. This month marks the official close of a place so many called home. I have a whole new family because of this man, not just dune season but year round. His vision and hard work has warmed the hearts of sooo many duners and it's time to be recognized.

Robbie is clearly our "Duner of the Year" for 2010.

From what I understand one needs to be duner of the month to be eligible for "Duner of the Year". If that's the case- let's get the boss in there this month.

Thank you Robbie wash11.gif

X3, but I think we also need to add Tim (GlamisPilot) in the mix. He has fought behind the scenes for us for several years, and has helped ensure that we had a home available. Mad props to both Tim and Robbie! thumb.gif

GPR721 and crew

Last night as we were heading over to Olds around 11 pm we came across two guys just past Comp. One had gone over of a 80 foot drop and broke both sides of his handle bars off and I think he dislocated his right hip. We ended up getting him out of the dunes and up to Osborne were we met up with the Ambulance.

77charger and chevyprerunner25 for...

I bought some wheels for my Yukon from member chevyprerunner25 (Anthony). Not only did he give me a smokin' deal on the wheels, he also delivered them to 77Chargers' pad before I even paid for them. Then 77charger (Robert) provided a GD.com postal service from Fullerton to San Diego, where I met up with him today. Robert took time between jobs to meet up with me, probably out of his way. These are stand up guys and both are examples of what makes this place so awesome! Thanks guys!
