Ok i took off my stock shroud and cut some of the crappy plastics scoops and put on a mesh grill custom made by me and i put everything back on, here it is: tell me what you think also it is overcast out side so its kind of hard to see the straight on pics

Looks good....but do you actually ride that thing??? I can still see the nibs on the tires front and rear!!??!!
If you do ride it pretty hard....Qudoes on the hours you must spend cleaning it, cause it still looks brand new!!

Dude i ride it all the time, i rode it today to, most of the time has been in the dunes with front and read sand stars, but i have used the stock tires about 2 day trips and 1 weekend and a couple hours around my house, but those nibs are on the side of the tire, if ya look at the front tire the middle ridges are actually getting riped on the corners, but yeah i clean it after every trip and im always wiping it off with a towel, thx for the comment

hey i dont know anything about z400 but my bro put on a chrome grill on his banshee and it made it run hotter cuz the air flow to the radiator was restricted. so next time you go out watch out for that and see if it will work for ya.

other than that looks like something youd buy at the store.

that bend looks horrible Mark where you want the bend and take it to school with you tomorrow and bring it to metal shop with you and bend it right. It will look much better. Glad it fit.

we only have auto no metal shop, i wish we had metal shop i would be in it, but i did my best on the bend, the shrouds are like 14" and that metal was 16, it was a very good fit thx alot

we had metal shop when i was at that school but the teacher was a tweaker and left us alone all period while he was locked in his office. sometimes he would stick his head out the door at the beginning of class and say "you know what to do, see you tomorrow"

Looks good. Where'd you end up getting the mesh? That might look good for a Banshee grill. More air flow than the aftermarket one I got. Probably WAY cheaper too.
