No joke one of the pups is named Duner - And NO I had nothing to do with it. Perhaps he was meant to be adopted by a GD member icon_biggrin.gif

Here's the information I was sent on these ADORABLE puppies:

These two little guys are out of the litter of 9, yes I said 9, that were rescued from a junkyard a few weeks ago. As you can see, they’re quite adorable and pair very well together. We’d love to find one forever home for the both of them but they can be split up if necessary.

Duner is a bundle of energy. Loves to play, explore, and is more independent of the two. He’s very social but doesn’t appreciate being smothered with love as much as Vega. Vega is much mellower and will often follow Duner’s lead. Vega does enjoy hugs and kisses and is very proud of his bark.

These guys are labradors with a touch of "cookies and cream". Duner and Vega are approximately 3 months old and will both be neutered, up-to-date on all shots, and microchipped at the time of adoption. Both pups are partially housebroken (work in progress), do well with other dogs and cats, and are kennel trained. Both pups also do well with little kids and people of all shapes and sizes. The adoption fee for each of these guys is $175 or $300 if adopted out together.

What city are these in?

My 13 year old lab has mouth cancer and doesnt have much time left, need to slide in a couple of cute puppies to keep the kids from freaking out and the 15 year old momma from being lonely.

Currently in Phoenix, I'm not sure if they would do an out of state adoption.

Also - check out Petfinder.com Its an AWESOME tool for rescues. You plug in what you are looking for which can be gender, age, breed, temperment (kid friendly for example), and your location. Then it pulls up what matches those parameters. A LOT of rescues out there right now, and plenty of puppies to be had.

Best of Luck with your current dog, that is never an easy time of life and so hard to say goodbye when it is time.

LaDSM, I can check into out of state for you. Since I am with AZ Paws and Claws, I can definitely vouch for you. Please email me @ cdixon@e2cc.com as I can't get on the board @ work. So sorry to hear your baby not doing well. icon_sad.gif

So sorry to hear LaDSM. Just a thought. When I was a kid and when one of the family pets passed my mom would have us do a little farewell ceremony. We'd write little notes to say goodbye and then she'd burn them to 'send them up to heaven' for us. It was just a nice moment of closure for us to have.

Dang LA, that is so sad. icon_sad.gif I don't recall how old your kids are, but I know even if a fish dies in our place we all want to be there to say our own goodbyes. icon_cry.gif I know my son still gets upset when he talks about Razor's dog, D. O. G. that passed that he did not get to see him one last time.

If you are interested in these little ones please let me know, I got a 2nd plea for help today...

RIP to your pup...
