My buddy Gary's is the first to get the new MCX Apex installed in his Rzr

the apex is a Yamaha 4 cylinder 1000cc turbo snow mobile engine putting out 300hp on low boost

and this conversion allows you to keep 4 wheel drive

this is a video of the prototype running 260 hp

Will the Apex motors work in Rhinos? I thought the Polaris Diffs were good up to about 150hp. Are the rhinos weaker?
That kind of power makes me want to do a swap smile.gif

I knew I was in one of those videos (big red flag). The Apex was really fast. Probably would have won the drag's at Moab if the clutch had been dialed in. I'm curious how long the gear boxes will last.
