The ones with the screen mesh. Has anyone had any experience with these? Unbearably cold out there in the winter time? Seems like a decent way to get some extra room, but could be a serious issue with keeping the trailer reasonably warm.

WE have 2 fold out beds in our TH. We like them because they add so much room but they are like sleeping in a tent. We have started hanging blankets or sleeping bags inside the "tent" helps in the winter for cold and summer for heat. The only time we have had a problem was about 2 years ago we got caught in a bad sand storm and we had to fold in the sides. I love the trailer and the fold out work great for us we have just found ways to make them more comfortable.

Cool. My family slept in a tent trailer back in the day, but that's too long ago for anyone to remember other than "sounds cold". icon_biggrin.gif

Good idea on the sleeping bags.
