They dont blink in either direction. It just flashes once then does not work. Is it a relay or the turn signal lever. Can I test the relay. I am going to look for the relay in the fuse block. Anyone got any ideas. Going up to happy jack in the morning with or without turn signals

There should be a "flasher" also unless its built into the relay. Is this a motorhome, or trailer? Might help with other responces.

Just a stupid idea, but take a test light to the trailer plug and see if that curcit is working. That might narrow it down. If they are working, it shouldnt be the lever.
Or this just bumps you back up top!

On the pusher, what about the trailer plug? Test light to both sides of the fuse? No turn signals or hazards, I'm thinking flasher. Someone that knows what there talking about should answer soon, I'm taking nyquil right now and just guessing.

Everything works when I jack with the turn signal. everything works on the trailer too, i was looking on rv net, read something about corrosion on the contacts in the turn signal. Might try that another day, anymore input please do so,

I needed my trailer brakes once and they werent there! I checked, and set them when I left. I found out later that there was a light corrosion film on the trucks plug. I bougth some die electric grease and some spray cleanner for electrical parts and sprayed everything I own. (and some things I dont, like the neighbors trucks too).
If your driving in Cali, dont worry about them, most people just cut each other off. No one will notice they dont work! Have fun on your trip.

Anybody got any input on this, really sucks with no turn signals, I noticed when I turned on the hazards on and step on the brakes they come but wont shut off untill I turn the hazards off. Does that mean its the flasher

Got a chance to finially try to figure out what was going on. I did some research on the internet and found thati ts not to uncommon in freightliners for the flashers to go out, I found two flashers under the dash, went down to checker and got two heavy duty flashers, plugged them in and everything is fine? problem solved, just passing it along

You mean I suggested to check the "flasher" 2 months ago, I think 10min after you asked what would cause this and you just checked them today? Holly crap, what did you spend? $20?
JK, glad you got it fixed.
