In a 06 Discovery. Have no power to the control panel on the front of the fridge. Checked all fuses (accessible)and circuit breaker all is good 110v power is good, too.

Any one else have this happen to them and/or have any idea on what had to be fixed?

Nothin better than havin to keep a cooler inside of a DPer. wife.gif

Could be the circuit board, I know these can go out, but I'm not sure of the proper steps to test it.

There is two wires by the pilot going to a thermal switch, the switch went bad you can jump the two togeather but i wouldnt drive down the road with it jumped. They will try to sell you a complete rebuld kit I ended up with a few limit switches, if it works let me know and ill send you one beer.gif

thanks for the replies

Doin Dirty...will not operate at all, no power to the control panel on front to indicate power on/off or change from Auto to LP.

Raspadoo - I'm plugged in to shore power, and dont know that I can override being that the control panel is dark. Would the thermal switch cause the fron panel to be inoperable?

I now there are a couple of fuses inside the circuit board but getting to them is going to be a bi*athc.

If I recall, when that switch goes nothing works, no lights on front of display, I have essentially the same moho / fridge and when it is hot it blows that overload. two wires going to it, pull them both off and jump them togeather, my money says you are back in business. beer.gif

That sounds like thats could be it then. i'll try to jump it in the Morning just to see. I am packing up and heading home tomorrow so if I do get the jump to work would you recommend I just turn it off while traveling? or if I switch to AC only and run the generator (gonna anyway to keep a/c running) will I be ok?

Thanks Scott.

Raspadoo, You are the man!!! Thanks all for the help. Yes it was the thermal switch, as soon as I jumped those connections all was good.

Any thoughts on driving it home with it jumped like that, or Just "Dont do it" ??

Thanks.
