We had Doug from Doug's Mobile Awning repair come out and fix our awning this week. He was a great guy! Fixed the awning and then checked and fixed the guides that run up and down the arms AND reattached the lower mount on one side that was coming loose (thanks WW). Did all of this without being asked, he just wanted to make sure the job was done right. Great guy, cant recommend him enough! We're bringing him back pretty soon to hook up a screen room off the awning for us hethan.gif

Ordered the fabric on ebay for my 16' awning and installed it myself(and 2 friends helping). Used directions off of the web. Cost $150 shipped to my house. Places wanted about $400 to replace it, so I was stoked to save $250. Took about 2.5 hours. Next one would take about 1 or 1.5 hours.

The wife and I installed a new 21' shade on my WW Thursday evening. Super easy - 3 beer project.
If you want, I'll give you a hand when you get the fabric.

Sally. You and a buddy could do all that yourself. laughing.gif

I'm sure I could have but it was much easier to sit back, have some drinks, and play Call of Duty while he did the awning. Material was about $300 and labor was another $100. They had to take it apart; drilled out some rivets, took the end caps off, fixed the items I listed in the first post, and had it back together in about an hour.
