Here's the story, I have an opportunity to buy a 2010 frame DOM/4130 mix 1.5" tubing for a really good price but Im more interested in just the front section to lop off and graph onto my baja bug. I dont wanna say the manufacturer's name of the frame as thy are a sponser on this board but needless to say, the frame isnt completed. The rear section still needs to be completely but anyone could set it up to what ever powerplant. My question is, is there any interest in frames that had been scavenged from? I wont be using from the A-pillar back. I included some pictures...it comes with 2" hollow spindles is also a main reason Im giving this deal an interest.

Pretty tough question. I don't know the price point, but I do know it would have to be a REALLY smoking deal for you to make it worth it. I would imagine you could build a pretty sweet front end for you bug in $2000 range. I'm not sure how much the chasis is worth from the A pillar back, bu not much IMO

it has alot of straight peices you could use for bracing, etc. you can also use the bends for certain things if you needed as well once you cut and grind. i save most of my remnents from projects for little stuff, shit is expensive so i hate to have to buy a small peice for something im doing.

It does come with 2" hollow spindle/hub assemblies with welded on 4 piston brackets. Im not sure about arms. He has a huge box with stuff. Im looking at it later today.

The fabrication and design look decent, the frame unfinished I would guess maybe worth $600-800. might be a project for someone with more time than money.

went to go look at it earlier today and decided to step away from it. The 4130 is just two lower tubes on the front, the spindles were welded on to Latest rage spindle kit by the owner....HORRIBLE weld job with a mig welder...2" hollows partially, bird shiated on!!!!
