I just wanted to THANK and I mean THANK Sand Cars Unlimited for building a strong and well built car. I was in Pismo this last weekend with my dad and his 2006 Little Bro and I rolled it 2 times with 4 people in the car. Everyone walk away with no injuries and the car only has cosmetic issues. The frame looks like it nothing even happen. We where able to roll the car back over with some help and drive it back to camp. I race off road race cars that have rolled less violent and have broken in half and destroyed. My dad and I will always be SCU customers for life. We didn't get any pictures when it happen, but I took some after pictures of the car.

Thats pretty awesome, that it was only cosmetic especially for a x2 rollover, i have some pics from Tatums shop the other day of a really bad rollover but i wont post them because i don't want to embarrass anyone here in this forum but the car was being driven through the forest, and came over a hill into a gully endowed and landed roof first onto a boulder and then filpped back over onto the tires, the shock tower hit so hard it twisted the whole frame to the point that the car would teeter on two wheels.

saw that the other day too. took some pics as well. i think Rich was saying they were just going to strip everything off the car and build a new frame? I think there were little kids in the back as well scared.gif . Either way glad no one was hurt in either rollover! two top notch builders for ya'

How did you roll it at Pismo? Glad the car did it's job and took care of the fam!

It was a rookie mistake for being my first time to pismo. Did not know the whole surrounding area. Was in the south east corner of the dunes. Saw a good straight away open the car up and could see open dunes. While going started to see the top of a fence the south part of the dunes and it was coming up quick, started to do a high speed turn with gas and brake like I have done before in sand and dirt. I was half way through my turn when we came up to a 4 foot razor back/drop off and went off it side ways hitting both right side tires first and throwing us into our roll over.

That must have been fun trying to explain to your Pops. Glad everybody is safe.

He was behind me in a jeep, so he kind of knew what happen. The only thing was he didn't see it happen. Was not a very happy person at that moment and the next couple of hours that evening. After a few drinks later that night he gave me a hung and was glad no one got hurt. Then he said this is gong to cost you. I have to fix the car and make others changes he wants too, on my dime. The worst part was explaining it to my mom!!

Pismo Razor Backs suck, I broke my back on one on my old 250R 3-wheeler. Decided I would head inland away from the ocean and rolled over the top of a Dune to find out it was undercut, I bailed but the 3 Wheeler chased me and the rear wheel caught my helmet and broke a Bell Moto 4. I never lead at Pismo anymore.

Sorry about the accident but glad to hear everyone is OK!

Yes it is insured, my parents and I have a lot to lose with owning our own business and having a lot of assets. There is a million dollar umbrella policy we have plus the buggy insurance for medical and property damage.

Definitely glad to hear everyone's ok, and walked away. Thats the most important!!

Im not to sure of the intent of the post above, but you cant compare a dune roll over to a forest roll over. Trees, rocks, boulders and hard ground dont compare to the softness of sand.

Nice! Nothing like a forced refresh. Glad everything turned out okay, Pismo has a tendency to be not so forgiving.

Emil has a really good eye for design, and is resonably priced. They did a fantastic job making my 7 year old car look a lot newer. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else, Michael
