Went to Pismo Beach this weekend, went to turn on the Hot water heater and it sounded like it was igniting but never lit. (just like a stove when you go to lite it, it will tick but never lite) Has anyone ever had this problem or know of anyone that has. Any suggestions.

Thanks

Sounds like you igniter board is not turning on your Lp gas.

Try disconnecting the wires for the igniter board and use fine sandpaper on the contacts.

Make sure you purge your gas lines.

I always fire up the stove to purge air out of lines before lighting any other applances.

If this doesn't work, you can take the board out and take it to most rv repair shops and have them check it for ya.

Call first to see if they can do it..

Hope this helps.... beer.gif

Also, be sure the LP Detector inside isnt tripped...if it is, the gas will not run.
