I went and bought a plug and play HID headlight conversion from ddmtuning.com in San Diego. Ordered the 35W, 6000 for more light. I'll have some pics of the difference tomorrow but so far, thae kit looks bad ass for only $35. The offer other models also, just have to know your light bulb.

raptorryder
just installed the same kit but 5000k in my rhino, thinking i should of gone 6000k but to late now.
CRNACNAC
Just installed a DDM kit also in a friend's RZR last night. I used their slim line ballast. For an additional $10.00 you can get a 55w kit.

Becareful with that 55w kit, known to melt headlight assemblies. I too bought the slim ballast kit....Im just lagging on installing it.
CRNACNAC
I hear ya on the 55w. I had her buy the 35w kit.

WOW is all I have to say. Bright and super easy to install. Pretty straight forward. I'll get pictures as soon as I can. So far, pretty impressed.

55w kit is just pushin it with the stator.. you dont wanna be stuck at the hill!
you will get there, but dont count on it starting again!... its NOT worth the risk

FInally got some pictures. Sorry dont have before and after but its a HUGE difference.

That was the one of the best upgrades I did to mine, along with 3- 7" Kragen HIDs. THe next best upgrade is a Camshaft, thats what Polaris uses to govern the motor down to meet the Federal HP limits.

It is not a standard automotive bulb and most A/M HID suppliers don't make them. Try Vision X as I think they may carry it. Maybe Wheelie Bar can help out.

They go by bulb size, for 09-11 Polaris Ranger, not sure about RZR, bulb is a 880.

Get ahold of Endi at SXS Customs. I think he has a 2010 kit or is in the process of making one.
