what kind of rollers are you using??? I have the cascade slide and have had stock rollers since new. Maybe chain is too tight.

i bought some aftermarket ones, i lost my stock ones when i took the bike apart. i cut the chain cause it was way to loose and adjusted to the max. Even when the chain was loose it ate up a roller.

Did you replace the chain and rear sprocket when you changed the front sprocket? If you didn't your chain is probably streched so far you cann't get a good adjustment. It will adjust tight but will flop around when you are on the bike and riding. When you adjust the new chain you should check the slack when you are sitting on the bike.

the chain needs some slack in about 10mm either
direction when you are sitting on the bike!!!!!!!!!

thanks for the replies.
the only thing i changed was the front sprocket, but then my chain was really loose. then i cut my chain, took 1 link off. now it is pretty tight. do you recommend a new chain and/or a new rear sprocket?
thanks again, im trying to get this thing running fine before the 11th.

You should replace both. The sprockets can streach also and get out of pitch. Pith is the distance from one tooth to the next. The chain has a pitch per inch and the sprocket has a circular pitch that has to match.
