I was just reading dirtwheels Oct'02 and there is a new Bombardier 2-seater ATV. Does anyone know how this will be handled at the sand dunes considering there is a rule about riding doubles?

Good question. I can't see how they could prevent double riding on a vehicle with manufacturer's approval and proper seating, etc.

I'm sure there would be acceptions made?

Update on the 2 seater, for anyone who's interested. It's been approved in 38 states, but still not Cali. They're working on it. But the way it sounds is most likely not, with the steep dunes and all.

it looks like john deere himself built that ride on mower, then somebody went and painted it red. i sure would never want to be seen on that thing...unless i was with the coors twins....he he twins basel.
