GlamisDuner2002
I just bought a brand new 2002 Honda Sportrax 400 ex, and I noticed that it's rather weak! I tried getting up competition hill in Glamis and also Oldsmobile. I could only make it up halfway before it killed out. I also didn't have paddle tires on though. Is it because my bike is weak (it's stock) or is it because I didn't have paddles on. I got stuck half a dozen times too in the sand. Also, I went through like 10 fuses and something's seriously wrong with my electrical system. Fuses keep blowing. I can't start my quad when they blow... What do you guys think? It's brand new! I shouldn't be having these problems. Give me suggestions or comments... I want to hear what you have to say. Thanks... Ben

if its brand spankin new, its still under warranty, take it back to the dealer. when the fuse blows it starts running poorly. not enough voltage. i had a problem with my whip light shorting out, blowing the fuse. now it is fused seperately. even with stock tires you should be able to make it up those hills(not really fast), somthing definatly wrong with it.
DUNE
You got the quad that was made on friday just before quieting time. Take it back and tell them to fix it.

Mr Dune is right, but I am thinking it was made during happy hour on a friday.

RETURN IT!

I've climbed Comp and Olds on a stock 400EX with knobbies. No problem. The electrical problem definitely needs to be taken care of. Be sure to get your extended warranty if you haven't already.

My neutral light is staying on, even in gear. [Roll Eyes]

That's just a neutral safety switch.
