Shovel Boy
350 what?? banshee? warrior? new raptor?
HA2
doesnt matter, it beats all of the mentioned above.
SHOCKER
Yeah what do you mean 350? warrior, raptor, banshee, what? but the 450's beat anything
Fireballsocal
My banshee hasn't been beat by a stock 450. It was close but I got the win. I am fairly light though and haven't raced many bikes.
PimpShackDave
I've beat the 3-4 I've raced. 3-4 is far from an accurate analysis of the bike's ability, though.
Rubberneck
From what I've seen the banshees win most of the time.
HA2
out of the box, the banshee is surprisingly tame. ive raced both stock, piped and filtered (majority of the stiffs in at the hill) and the 450 is noticeably stronger.

I smoked one last night at the pits, 3 times.
dead stop, let em get traction and 2nd gear roll on. icon_biggrin.gif
Not that i give a crap who i beat or don't, but buying the YFZ450 and all the hype everyone's reading in the mags and being the only one where i ride.....Everyone want's a piece of me.
Yamiboy
faster i would have to say the 450 is. but the quicker bike is the banshee. it is quicker at accerlation but once the 450 gets going the 450 will catch the banshee and win.

but if you sit there and really think about it take the cost or a 450 which are runnin about $7k to $8k pending on where you get it and take a banshee going from $6300 to $7500(pending on location) now look at which one is faster you can make the banshee almost a faster bike with the extra money you save.

so if you but a race bike, your gonna pay the money.

thats all it boils down to.

thats my $.02

There is no doubt. If you want a drag bike, a banshee is the logical bike to get. Any more (And I'm really sad to admit this), the thumpers out perform the two strokes in so many areas though that unless all you want the bike for is dragging, a thumper is the best bike for most. I was one of the first guys at Glamis on the thumper bandwagon on my YZ400. They laughed till I pulled them at the hill, didn't have to mix my fuel, and didn't have to jet as much. They might have still laughed but it was drowned out by my big gun exaust. icon_wink.gif More and more people are heading to the thumpers for those reasons.

Banshee's are still king of the hill in my book though. icon_wink.gif

so far my banshee is untouchable to the 450's i have raced, stock, piped whatever. never beat the shee.
Blazin Orange KFX
Out of the box, a yfz owns a shee. But, shees will come alive when modded and have no problem taking down yfzs. Its still a toss up though when it comes to what is the better drag bike.
