I'm all confused on this seat mounting stuff for my 87 Trx 250r. I just received my 88 seat I bought and didn't realize that the dowels that go into the mounts on the frame are built into the seat pan. I'm confused on how the seat mounts to the fender (which is an 87) and how the fender/seat mount to frame. If someone could clear this up for me and let me know what hardware I will need I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Tim

Thanks a lot for the pictures Sandho. [Big Grin] That just about clears thinks up for me. The 88 set up is a little different. I couldn't figure out how everything went together by just this image and I didn't want to go out buying stuff I didn't need. The rear latching setup is a little different but has the same idea. Thanks again for the pictures.

Padtrx this might help you.

Click on to the year of your quad and then scroll down to Fender-rear,seat. and then ck out the mounts of both your fender and the 88 seat mounts. you will have to go back to the year of the seat to see it's mounts.

Shane-O ..... UMMMM???........NOT A CHANCE!! [Roll]
Nice ride HUH? She's had that thing since brand new and it's had some engine work done so it flat a$$ flies. It's still one of, if not the, cleanest ATC250R I've seen in a long time.... [Cheese]

She won't let me buy her a quad because she says she wouldn't ride it.

Its all good... I couldnt afford the gas down there to get it, let alone what she would probly want for it. I've just always had a soft spot for 'wheelers.
