ROCKING THE 1980 ATC!

Picked up two more ATC 70s today.

One is a 85 with a bent frame.

The other is a 79 (I think, have to check the vin) with a 85 motor.

The carbs need cleaned, they need seat covers. The plan is to combine these two with the suspended frame I picked up on ebay and make a suspended trike and a stock trike.

Here they are with the mint 85 70 I already had.

i thouht i did pretty good for $400 yes it is the one that was on ebay last week

Looks Like I am now a 70 guy too. The wife thinks I'm nuts but these things are too much fun !! I got a 1983 70 and this custom one !!! more pics to follow. I will have the 83 ATC 70 at Glamis this weekend Veterns day !!!

just picked them up the other day will send pics when finished with them one will be a full resto one will be custom. they are both 85 but one has a 4 of 86 prodate and shifts all up the other one shifts down

I bought this 1982 for 50 bucks than i bought the plastics and the tank from another buddy for 65 bucks than i bought the motor,exhaust,carb,big bars,and a few other odds and ends. these pics suck but i will post the finished project..

Heres my 70 fitted with a ducar 125 electric start engine bored to 60mm(161cc)



I have 2 70's in bits ones going std and one full suspension pit bike plastics and disc brakes.
also have an atc 110 and a atc 125

My 85 atc 70 is getting a full rebuild with new douglas wheel's ,plastic's 88 trails bike big bore kit,one off doma racing exhaust and lot's of bling and my 83 atc 70 is staying totally stock....

this thread always makes me smile... and gives me the itch to pick up a new project.

Here's mine. Crafted from an 84 chassis, I added a Loncin 110cc with electric start. Runs pretty good and it's fun to goof around on.
