Hey I would just like everyone to know that I just got a 86 trx250R today. It's bone stock and the engine hasnt been touched yet. The bike has been sitting in a garage for over 9 years collecting dust. Today I started stripping it down to the frame for a complete rebuild and build up. The best thing about it all.......got it for a grand!!!!!!!
My dad and I are rebuilding it completely and going with Roll Design Lobo II front and rear. The engine will be a 330 probably. It won't be ready this season but look out next year....Thanks ZERO PRELOAD...

I can see why some consider them legendary.

I bought my 1986 TRX250R in 1989 for $900.00 YEP you read right, 9 Hundi! It was bone stock perfect condition and came with a Hondaline fitted cover, Hondaline helmet and AXO boots.

I got my 86 when it was 1yr old and picked it up for 1800.oo. I'll tell you one thing, If i find one like that for a grand you can bet I'll buy it and make a bigger and better 250r then the one I have now...

I have been riding a hot rod 86 250r for several years..I have ridden the rest, and the 250r is definately the best.
