Check out www.uship.com --- basically an online community where you put up an ad to shippers and telling them what you need. In your case, a SXS delivered from East Texas to your house. Then shippers in that area that are willing to do the drive (going that way anyway) will "bid" or make offers to you. I *think* you can also put down a flat rate price you're willing to pay. I can't remember all the details. I know a friend of mine had a RZR delivered to him in Carlsbad from Minnesota for $650...but that was 3-4 years ago.
