Slappy
We had a great time doing Slappy's Question Contest in the shout box, and the folks that played did slapptacious. However, there was a couple folks wondering what the Sand Food was. It was the answer to one of Slap's questions. Well, here is the Sand Food.

The Sand Food attaches its scaly stem to the root of a nearby plant, and uses the nutrients from the host plant as its food. It takes a liking to the Buckwheat. They is rarely seen in G, and if you come across one, you'll notice tiny, pretty purple flowers on the tops of the mushroom shape. They is way cool no doubt, and a Slappy and Brotherhood Member favorite. icon_biggrin.gif

I've only seen them twice. Very cool to be cruising along and come upon a stalk of sand food all out by itself.

Hey Slap, what made those tracks near the sand food?

WOW Mark.. Those ones are the biggest Ive seen..

Out by the canal areas is where we've found it the most.. You have to be actively looking to see them.. They are usually pretty small.

Slap heard that they was edible, and the indians used to chew on them, or make soup with them or somethin, but don't quote Slap on that one Coyote. Slap wouldn't recommend it, you might start seeing WhiteCoats floating through the dunes wearing thong underwear and face paint. UM...OH...That was Chums, sorry bout that.
