Full Version: Limit Straps Mounts? Please Help

hey guys i am hoping someone can help me on this, i am looking for some type of mount for 1.5 tubing so i can mount my limit straps without welding to my powder coated frame, i thought some one at the sand show was selling them,it was a billet clamp that you could use the adjustable mount for the limit straps, or if anyone has done anything different let me know thanks guys

There are also internal stops that go inside the shock to limit travel. They are supposed to be better than straps because they dont stretch.

The internal stop is a spacer, some are made out of alloy and others steel. Limit straps may not be asthetically pleasing for some, but are better on ur shock.

I have seen a few cars that used the upper and lower shock bolts to mount the limit strap to.

I saw that vendor at fibertechs open house in santee, ca , they sell a lot of billet clamps for everything on the car. Eric or Tracy will know who the vendor is.

I didn't see any billet ones but as mentioned above this guy http://www.sandiegorideconcepts.com/ had some that looked pretty strong.
