Did not see a area for this so general chat it is..
I need to borrow/ rent/barter a log splitter, I live in east county san diego (lakeside), the rental places that Ive checked want like 80 + a day for the rental. So I thought I would turn to my fellow duners to see if anyone has one on here that would be willing to loan/rent it out for a weekend.. And yes I have the old axe and splitter combo but Man that is a lot of work and I am getting old and LAZY!!!! Any way thought it would be worth a shot..

Its cheaper to just buy the wood already split 120 or so a cord and they stack it

120 a cord??? where?? And rock I'll need you to show me how to use those

i just rented one in big bear. it was about the same. its worth it if you have 5-6 cords to split like i did. cost 20 bucks for the pass to cut that wood, 80 for the splitter and 20 bucks for a 30 pack. thats a better deal than 120 a cord. lol
