The enviros must be laughing their @sses off. How can we possible fight them when all we do as a dune community is fight between ourselfs. Both sides of this argument should be embarrased and ashamed of yourselfs!

How right you are. It is embarrassing.
Any number of times I started to type a comment and have chosen not to. Knowing that it would probably just add fuel to the fire and not change anything.

When I was growing up in this rather disfunctional group we call a family, if my brothers or I had a beef with the other, it was very often physical. Yep! Out in the yard punching each other out!:blackeye: Many times it was bloody. Jeez!
But, if someone from "outside" our family tried to get one of us, man, we rose as a unit and stood together. We still do. We don't hit each other anymore, but we still love a good arguement!!
That said, I feel the same here!
Enemies of my enemies are my friends.

I'll say it again...it's just between a few people. It's been this way for awhile. The problems begin when other people that have nothing to do with the personal issues between this person and that person jump in and pile it on. It's one thing to explain or defend a particular point of view or a stance...it's another when a poster begins a personal attack directed at someone while having no involvement in the personal dispute between the parties involved. Just read the posts that are controversial. Some people just can't wait to insult belittle or outright lie about something that is none of their business.
The sad part is that until the last fiasco, things had seemed to calm down...

So true. There are legit questions that are often asked on these boards. Whether or not someone likes the question or answer not at issue. Often the answers are contaversial, heck, so are the questions. Where the problems begin, most often, is when someone has to throw in the "oh yeah". Kinda like we all did back in grade school.
When I have a problem with, just tossing names here, Vicki, Chuck, un-named org board members, thats between us. But there always seems to be some clown or clownette that reverts back to 5th grade and jumps in with an un-needed response.
Let the question be asked, answered and then go away.

Let's keep it to Funco vs. V8 Rail. Airbags. Engine in the wrong place. Stuff like that.....
Have a

and go duning. That's what is all about.

Jon, the funny part about this petty crap that goes on is that the ones with the biggest mouths most likely ain't got the nads (or naddetts) to do it face to face . It's the internet, dude...
I don't mind heated discussions..even some yelling from time to time works for me, as long as it's all bout what we are talking about. If "you" can't keep the cheap shots out of the discussion, "you" have no business IN the discussion.
It really IS that simple...in principle!
About the rest of your post...
I like the V8 rails...except for the GM parts...!!!
Have you seen the fold-out of the new 550 hp dohc Ford /transaxle in the Hot rod Mag?
SWEEEEET...in a middy long travel...!!!

It's sure nice to hear some kind words once in awhile.
Outa here for a 10 days in Glamis.

I know what you're thinking, but I've got work to do.

It's also my Jackie's birthday next week and that's where she wanted to go.
