My friend hydroplaned Sunday night in the rain exiting the freeway off the 91. He rolled his 2008 F350 two times and walked away from the accident unharmed. Believe it or not, the idiot wasn’t even wearing his seat belt. He said he was thrown in the back seat upside down when the truck came to a stop. I told him he was lucky he wasn’t ejected or thrown under the truck for not wearing his seat belt. He’s always been one of those guys that says I don’t wear my seat belt. He told me Monday I’m wearing my seat belt for life now. I told him thata boy!

Maybe some how to drive in the rain classes, along with wearing his seatbelt should go well for everyone.

All it takes is once!

My bro and I rolled in his truck...I was 17 he was 20....no seat belts, my face hit the dash, chipped bone in my nose....multiple cuts, my bro got a sprained ankle.
We were lucky.....we were in snow and the 4th rollover that day the the ER saw and we were the only ones without spinal injuries...but the doc reamed us a new one for not wearing them.

WEAR YOUR SEAT BELTS!!!!

Glad he is ok. He's lucky.

glad he is ok...

years ago I did not wear my seat belt until a buddy of mine was in our baja bug... it a bump and smacked his head on the roll cage... I had my belt on and I laughed at him... but that showed me how easy it was to fly out of your seat... does not take much...

I wonder if the other 3 parties were wearing their seatbelts and that is what attributed to their spinal injuries?

I love how the driver of the second video jumps out the window and peaces out. Way to make sure your friends are OK.

I'm pretty sure that is what he was saying. ours wasn't too bad...only 1 flip and a spin on the nose during the flip...landed on the wheels facing the other way.
Sucked cause we weren't going that fast, but a hidden pothole or rutt beneath the snow caused the truck to turn into a snow back and up and over we went.

I think some off-roaders (in a modified Ford), just got really hurt rolling their truck, one died.. and they had 5 point harnesses. Yup, wear your belts.

Glad he got to walk away.
Sorry for anyone that has lost someone to this.
I myself have lost friends to this as well.
That being said, when your time is up,
its time to pay the piper.
I dont advocate NOT wearing them, my mom was
in a wreck years ago at 50+ that wrapped her
Mustang GT around a telephone pole and the cop said
that had she been wearing it, it would have killed her.

You never know when its time so minimalize the risks
when ever possible, that means WEARING seatbelts
Gump
he should go play lotto he a luck som bitch
