Sand Raptor
I just did my first oil change on my new raptor and was shocked to find out a oil filter from Yamaha cost me $18.00. Does anyone else make oil filters for the raptor? And does anyone sell a reusable one?

yes there is it's made by fram part #PH017A find it at checker or auto zone for about $4.00 .its about a inch longer than stock but lots cheaper.if you have billet cover for oil filter it won't fit though.

They hit ya to hard on that price. My local dealer sells them for $12, I think Berts is even cheaper. I've seen them from $10 to $18 at different places..

20/40 Yamalube non-friction modified oil is $3.00 per quart if you buy a case. I use it because it's the only oil I've seen where whats inside is clearly marked on the lable like the words; non friction modified. Important if your ride is a wet type clutch which most are.

Raptors guzzle oil if you run continous hot and hard so a case is a good investment.

Bosch 3300 at Autozone = $5.00
