Why isn't this being done more? I think it would be more affordable then installing a mendi to an engine.

Looks like it would be fun to drive

Width and gear selection?
It is a really logical set up in terms of layout and affordable availability of parts EXCEPT the pesky issues of the R&P ratios.
Vettes use tall ratios which will make your rail feel sluggish.
If there was a 5.13 or 5.42 ratio offered, it would be one of the best setups for a sand rail.

the one i am using has 3.90, 4.10, 4.30, 4.56, 4.88, 5.13, 5.29......still limited on hp/torque #'s though, but good till about 500-600 hp
