You mean rule the hills, right? That's all we see racing the hills, I've only seen a few banshees out in the dunes, and that's where we are most of the time.

So hummmmmmm...... rule the dunes would go to HONDA BABY [Big Grin]

I'm not so sure about that. Honda's big handling advantage is in the dirt and the MX track. In the dunes, the Banshee's power pretty much still rules IMHO.

Hey I think that Yamahas have nice engines, but the suspension isn't too good. Banshees are made to only go strait and fast.

A pilot once told me that with enough power you can make a brick fly, but they don't handle for sheit.
I think the same goes here,IMAO.

The banshee has the power but it don't handle for sheit ether. [Big Grin]

That's why "body language" was invented. You honda people sit on the seat and expect the shee to go where you point the handlebars. The problem there in lies with the front tires on the banshee. They don't steer too good when they are two feet off the ground all the time. You have to lean this quad to turn it! How you people can claim Yamahas don't turn yet haven't learned to ride one never ceases to amaze me. [Roll Eyes]

I think they turn fine. In fact Kennie on his 330R honda couldn't lose me on a stock (Piped) banshee and my bikes top end is worn. I think that means it takes alot of money to make a honda that will out run a banshee in the dunes. Got horsepower envy? Thought so! [Wink]

AprilStar, you know you see banshee's everywhere out in the dunes. They are one of the few quads with the nuts to climb any hill or shoot any bowl out there. Maybe you and Beau were spending all your time in the "little" dunes where the banshee can't stretch it's legs. [Eek!]

Take either of your bikes and follow Doug like I was doing and see if your filter doesn't clog! Just remember that when I did remove the outerwear, the thing ran like a raped ape. [Big Grin]

As for us, we fly through those and off to the big shiat bowls/dunes/hills we do all......... oh and our shiat dosn't overheat, or break [Eek!]

grant it you may go faster up hills, but to me it's all about duning [Big Grin]

we may have put lots of $$$ in our bikes, but that's just to make them look sweet........other than that they go everywhere Mother G has to offer [Wink]

But remember, it was on a Quad with a bad clutch, 7 seasons on a completley Stock motor, and I was at least beatin by a stroked out Honduh with a new 310 top end (and only beat at the top by 1-2 bike lenghts). How much money $$$$$ do you have in that Quad?? LMFAO!!!!! [Big Grin]

My son has ridden his 250R for 5 seasons now and last year he had to ride my Banshee for 3 of the trips. He said the stock Banshee was faster than his bike but he had to ride the bike to keep up with the other riders. He was really tired when he got back from the rides,but no one bet him up the hills on the Banshee.

Hondas, Yamahas... who cares...the real joy is in driving your junk THAT YOU HAVE THE PINK SLIP ON...no doubt.Never could understand having payments on dirt toys....I see some fools who have nice sheit, nice buggies,quads,trailers...financed up to their arsks too.

ive seen verey few hondas in the shop getting repaired .it seems like all there is is banshees that some goon has tried to pump up and blew up the only problem /w/ honda is they don't have the nards to step up to the plate . i own a banshee and i whish it handeled like a honda in the dunes. but it sure is nice to kick honda but at the hill, the only thing better is to seriously kick some suzuki LT-500 butt . im waiting for this first ride to throw sand all over a brand new suzuki !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry about getting beat Speedy. My YZ400 has something for Beau's 300R! wish he could see the view of a 10 paddle viper pulling away like he's standing still but we all know that won't happen. [Eek!]

Wish I would stop playing with these Yamaha's and buy a real bike like a Honda. [BigCry]

HAHAHA, you guys are talking about having to RIDE the bike, try a 3 wheeler. Want to talk about body language.... Anyway, I'll race every single one of you's up any hill. I'll probably be beat by most. LOL I don't care if it's a Yami, or Honda, as long as we don't have to stop in the dunes because it broke (knocks on wood). I own, (not finance for the guys that hates that) a honda and a yami. That little 200 stock in Pebbles' bike is a pretty good little motor.

Hmmm wonder how it feels to have a brand new ( stock) Banshee get its ars kicked by a Bone stock 86 250R 3 wheeler. [Confused]

Done it at least 1 million times and it never grows old seeing the look on those shee owners blubbering something about a 300 kit. Talk about needing to know how to ride.... You need Ballz & Skillz to ride on three wheelz [Eek!]

I couldn't agree with you more Tres. It does take skillz to ride a 3 wheeler. Thats what I learend to ride on. Started life on a 90, then a 110, a 185, 200x and Finnaly a 350x (and yes, all honda's). But then I grew up and decided to get on a Banshee. WOW! what I was missing! [Wink]

As far as Being beat buy a Stock 250R ATC, I have never had that happen! Your probably just a better rider then those you have beat on a Banshee [Big Grin]

I will agree that they are faster than a 250R Quad.

Yea its all good... There are some damm fast shee's out there. And you can always tell when ones coming , Unmistakable sound those banshee's make, Of course I can also tell the sweet sound of a piped 250 Honda from a distance, Its like pure music to my ears. Only the Honda is like Heavy Metal and the yammy is like um uh must be rap....Rap rap rap [Big Grin]
