okay i swear... I am going to get this buggy together, and I am planning and doing like a retro-oldschool build, its a old school 2+2 frame, the car use to have a corvair engine in it so its kind of long, I plan on converting it to a mid engine with a 3.5vtec in it. but I need to have some pictures of mid engine rails, specifically how you run the transmission, shock, housing deal. thank you in advance!!

this is where you tell me a built type 1 will not survive...

but looking at the dyno sheets of stock vtec's they dont make nearly the amount of torque a built corvair does, and i have had several of them stuck behind built type ones and survive! so with a good driver thats not stupid with the clutch pedal it should be fine.
