I have never really seen it RAIN in glamis. A few big drops a couple of years ago and thats it. We will see what happens this weekend! Either way, should be a good time!

I've seen and ridden in rain in glamis, nothin to be scared about unless it's more monsoon type rain - then it can cause problems The forecasted rain eeeh I wouldn't be bothered about it.

Some of the best riding ever is right after a good rain in glamis....unless you have a rail, then watch out for your trans

x2 on the trans. It was brutal over the holidays. Saw a lot of cars being towed out. Great riding though - no dust, lots of traction and the dunes are completely different. Love duning in the rain!!

Well it rained this presidents weekend and it was fine! Friday and some Saturday and that was all. Just about perfect, not too much wind and
so many of us out there!

The rain last weekend was awesome. there was no rails out but on the dirt bike it was the best riding i have ever done out there. The smell was pretty awesome to (sounds corny i know). I did see something weird though... alot of the dunes were doing what i can only describe as a land slide... they would have these cracks about a foot deep..... all and all i highly recommend it!

Were you out with us that one time when started dumping buckets about halfway through a ride and lightning on the way home was touching down so close it looked like it was just over the next dune? That there was fun...

I noticed the face of the dunes cracking also. Mega hookup in the wet sand though. The big buggies tore it up around Olds. After the last of the rain moved out Sat morning it was great. Got in some good rides Friday too. the rain stopped Friday night long enough for our bonfire.

It has rained on me out there 3 out of the last 4 times I have been there. Before that I have never seen rain. Been goin since 84.
