Some know my BS story...my wife was hit back in September(t-boned and not at fault). So after many months of dealing with POS insurance companies including mine, we finally got the check, and sent the car to the bodyshop 2 weeks agot...3 months before it was butt rammed by a toyota. I'll try to post pictures of the entire process.

bought it for her mainly...this was the first day we bought it..took it to Benihana's! beer.gif

Before the accident

Even the little one liked it..

Night of the accident and after...

so.. uh... what is the width of that rear end? what gears are available for it? beer.gif tongue.gif

I bought an entire new suspension cradle since the old one was more then likely straight as a drunk man's sobriety walk and a new Flomaster exhaust....because I could! icon_biggrin.gif

I have no idea but I will have it back at my house if anyone wants to play with a IRS rear diff and CVs. sraptor.gif GOtta see first how bad, if any damage is to the diff an axles. I know every link on the right side was destroyed.

the entire rear quarter panel was cut out and a new welded on.

Car should be down tomorrow BTW!

Few more. Basically its back together, prepping the body for paint. The new flowmaster exhaust is installed, the new suspension cradle installed, the new quarter panel is getting cleaned up.

lucky you! Only 3 months? It took almost 9 months for me to get a check when I was hit head on by a DD
blackmagic250R
built srt8's for over 5 years... the rear end is the first thing to go...373's and 410's are available, but its a peg leg diff

I would make sure you see the print out of the alignment when its done. make sure its all in speck, they are a pain to get set up right and if one thing is a tiny bit off it will wear the rear tires.

You know i am. The actual body/chassis was straight, it was the suspension cradle that was bent. The new unit bolted on without any issue and I saw their machine print out when the car's unibody was checked.

Yeah, what he said. My dad went through hell and back getting his alignment right. From what he said, the spec is wrong, that he had to search a forum to get the real numbers. Thats for a 300c srt-8, not sure if there a difference between that one and your car as far as shoes.

And done! Sort of....the alighnment shop had a little mishap and damaged the front bumper. Plus, the body shop needs to put on the rear wing.
