Has anyone ever removed their sway bar on their utv?

Sure, people do it, but I wouldn't recommend it. With the sway bar disconnected or removed it will articulate better and free up the indepenent action. However, lateral and roll stability will be compromised. Your avatar shows a RZR-4, which means you're carrying passengers. I wouldn't do it.

I agree x2! In the hands of the wrong driver, these things still tip over pretty easily.

A friend removed the sway bar on his S and was telling me how much smoother it rode. I jumped in and took it for a spin through some of the little dunes. I found that it felt like it was going to fall over in every turn. When I got back to camp he asked me what I thought, and I said it feels like you are going to roll it. He laughed and said that it was still really stable, but he ended up rolling it later that day.

Long story short, I wouldn’t remove it.
