I have a PJ Trailers 5X10 single axle dump trailer, capacity is about 5Klbs, works great and the price was right, the original sides were only about 18" high, but I extended them 3 1/2' with plywood, and recently welded up a split drop down gate extension to match the plywood. couldnt live without this trailer, it is not only my trash trailer for all my home trash (no trash service where I live, I have to take everything to the dump), it is also my demo trailer at work. Cant count how many bathrooms and kitchens I have hauled off in it.
The dealer I got it from I think was on Greenfield about 2 blocks west of 2nd street in El Cajon, I know it was before first or mollison.

Sounds like Texas Trailer (AKA American Trailers)
That's where I bought my utility/ATV trailer. Price was good, easy to deal with, and lifetime warranty.

I have a 2006 16' Carson dump I will sell for $6500. Has almost every available option. Pintle hitch, 8,000lb oil bath axles, ramps with storage, d-rings, stake sides with 4' removeable sides that are new. 23 yard capacity with sides and 11,500 lbs capacity. Fresh paint. I have another 12' Carson dump I bought new in 2002 it has never failed me unless the battery goes low (run jumper wire from my truck if this happens. The 16' is prewired for additional battery on tongue. Has yellow top optima. I have used my 12' to dump loads up to 12k with a combined total over 3 million pounds or more (rent it out to subs) in the last 9 years. Just painted them both with lo voc sprayer.

forgot to mention I got my trailer 6 years ago when I moved up to this house, bought it specifically to use as a trash trailer, but have since used it to haul gravel, demo for work, etc.
I know miramar dump is a set price for a 5X8 trailer with 3' sides is pretty cheap, but per ton is around $99. Up here in Ramona with my trailer I get charged $60 a ton. Average bathroom has been about 3700 lbs lately, so its not too bad. but if you are going on a daily or weekly basis, a smaller one may be the way to go.
Pretty sure I only paid about $3K for mine.

We do alot of demo since we're flood/fire/water damage company...
I have found some on craigslist for good deals but they're all a couple weeks out to build...
This will probably be once or twice a week deal...if it's busy probably daily...
I've narrowed down my options to a 6.5'x12-14'x4' with a roller tarp and swing rear doors...texas trailers can build me one for $5k without the tarp...I can get one for $5400 built 1 week faster with a tarp by Team America

Make sure it is a scissor hoist not push ram. Tires and axle size make a big difference. Good deep cycle battery. Tarp system can be had from E-bay for around $200 shipped. Easy to install.
