You already bought the CT, so don't fret whether it is good or not. My experience is they all make pretty close to the same power, give or take a wee bit. There are some crappy Raptors running out at the dunes, so spend some time making sure it is jetted right and with your pipe, intake and jet ket you will be in the 45+hp range.
After the bolt-ons the next step up is a 12.5:1 or 13:1 piston and a Hot Cams Stage I cam or the Web cam they have at Trinity. With that you will probably be running 185/190 main jets and it will beat quite a few piped Banshee's.
The next level would be a 686 big bore and cylinder and head port by Harry McDermott at Trinity. If you want to see some fast Raptors, then make sure you are out Thanksgiving weekend at Glamis. All-around dune riding machines that run very strong, not just hill shooters.
Look for my Trinity 727 Raptor with the silver fore bore plastic cruising around the dunes and if you see me stop and lets talk how to get your bike up and running to be a Banshee beater.
Hey, no Banshee hater jokes, I have one too!!!
