Do any of you use the Lazer lights for your Banshee? Or other aftermarket lights for better illumination? If so, which ones? How much? and did you have to make any other mods to use them? Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!

I got the trail tech ones(35 watts) on the handle bars and they work great. Got them for 115. My friend had the lazer stars and I could not notice a difference in output. I think mine are plastic that is cromed and the laszer ones are metal but i can not even tell. Up on the handle bars is the place to put them for sure.

I have 4 Laser Stars on my Banshee. 3 50w 1 75w.
I put in a 250w stator. Lots of light now but I have about $700 in the system plus my time.
Pulling the flywheel was a pain.

Lifer, That is impressive to say the least. Did you do it in stages or all at once? What I am trying to say is that did you put two on then decide that was not brite enough then go to 4?

I did it all in one wack.
Night riding with the stock lights sucked.
In my other post I said $700, It's only about $600. I got one set of lights, stator and a regulator brand new off ebay for $325.
Got the second set from Weekend Concepts at full pop, $245.

TATE - ROCKEY MOUNTAIN ATV HAS SET FOR LIKE $180.00. BUY A FLY WHEEL PULLER $8.00. IF YOU HAVE AN IMPACT USE IT.THE FLY WHEEL WILL COME OF EASY.

ALTHOUH YOU DONT NEED TO BUY A NEW STATOR TO RUN A PAIR OF LAZERS. IF YOU WANT TO RUN 75 WATT BULBS THEN YOU'LL NEED A STATOR. 250 WATT IS GOOD AS LIFER HAS.
![[Beer]](graemlins/beer.gif)
MY SELF I USED A 200 WATT WITH TWO 50S IN FRONT WITH BLUE LENSES AND A RED 50 WATT LAZER IN THE BACK FOR A TAIL LIGHT. WHEN YOUR FLIIN THROUGH THE DUNES AT NIGHT NO MATTER HOW MUCH LIGHT YOU GOT SOME TIMES ITS TO LATE TO STOP ANY WAY. SO JUST PUNCH IT AND HANG ON.

My suggestion guys is to shop around. Some shops are very competitive and buy at volume and can offer a good disount off list. I HAVE to sell at list when selling direct. Not doing so competes with my dealers and thats not too cool. The only time I offer a disount is at shows. Since we have so many wattages available we can recommend a few options that will work best for you. If you'll give me a call I'll be happy to discuss it and help you decide.
I won't attempt to talk about some of the knock-offs, but try and remember this when your shopping... If you buy from us you're buying from fellow duners (30+years@Glamis) that have been doing lighting for almost 10 years. And the lights are 100% machined, assembled and packaged in So-Cal. Thanks for your continued support.

I have to say Im not very happy with my lazerstars! The first pair I bought broke on the very first ride. Then the replacement light I bought broke in 10 minutes of riding.....maybe just my experience.....I am not convinced this are all they are cracked up to be! People at the Halloween gathering can vouch for that!

True and its not like you ride hard either!
But I was there to watch both sets of lights fail and watch one mad calvin!! Hair standing on end..
Maybe Laser Star can look over the setup for something wrong?

In my opinion, Banshee Gal (Chris) has the best light setup...
Maybe she can en
lighten us!

Scott,
I remember we talked only once when I sent the replacement lamp. If you're having problems I will do whatever I can to get them working reliably for you. I know it seems like a hassle but contact me again, I'll get you going. I'm not to sure where you live but you can bring the bike by or I can even meet you at the dunes somewhere. I know once you get them right you'll really like them. Let's get them right. Ok?

RON
I HAD BULBS BURNING OUT ALSO ON ONE PAIR. WAS PUTTING NEW BULBS IN EACH NIGHT. IM SURE THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE MACHINED PARTS & I AM CONVINCED ITS THE BULBS. I HAVE GONE WITH A NEW BULB THAT HAS A LENS FIXED ON TO THE REFLECTOR. MAYBE THIS HELPS KEEP THE SAND OUT. I KNOW THEY'RE O-RING SEALED BUT SOME HOW THE BULBS STILL BURN OUT. ( NOTE LOOK OUT FOR BULBS WITH THE DOMED LENSES THESE WILL BREAK THE ORIGINAL LENS THAT COME WITH YOUR SYSTEM.
BY THE WAY I REALLY LIKE THE LAZER STARS & ALREADY TRIED THE KNOCK OFFS, THEY SUCK. THE LAZER STARS ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Ron's stuff is great, I have all three of my quads set up with them. We had problems with my wifes Raptor, a bad mixture of Alu but they stood up and gratis'ed the whole thing with no hassle. My kid's Banshee has the wazzooo stator from Ricky, four Lazers and you'll think ET is leading the ride when he comes at you.

Dec 29 2002, 02:25 PM
Our next scheduled show is the V-Twin Expo in Cincinnatti, OH which is a trade show, which we may not go to now. Then there is the Powersports Dealer Expo in Indianapolis, IN presidents weekend also a trade show. We won't do another OR event until the SSSS next year. The next consumer event we're doing is the Laughlin River Run in April. Which Kenny runs as you know...
