Hi I am located in northern Utah looking for some help on cv axel maintenance. How hard is it to repack 930's? I've been told there is a lot more to it than just grease and go. Any thoughts and or is there anybody who is reasonably priced that does this? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks-
Esco

Print out the outfront info and do it yourself in your nice clean garage where you can take your time. That way if you ever break one in the bottom of a bowl at midnight you'll have a little better idea of what needs to be done to get back to camp. beer.gif

Yea it's not hard at all with the outfront guide. I still use it just to double check when I'm done.

A grease gun with a grease needle works great for those inbetween trip greasings, and I mean grease them every trip / grease is way cheaper than c.v.'s. If you just pull back the boots or pull the dust cap on the hub side you can stick a grease needle in all the cracks and crevisis of your c.v. and pack it full.

Get the needle attachment (NAPA, or Hardware stores have them put on flex hose of grease gun and grease all cv's every couple of trips. Just pull the boot back wipe all the old grease off with a clean rag and grease it up with needle pushed into star to back side the new grease forces more of the old grease out. Works great I ran my last set of CV's 4 seasons then pulled them all were in good condition.
