I have an 87 250R that the shocks have never been rebuilt. It doesn’t get ridden very much any more because of the new buggy, i also don’t want to spend a hole lot of money and that’s also why im nut upgrading to a new shock with longer arms with all the goodies but I do need to get them rebuilt (front and rear) does anybody know a good place at a reasonable price or even used shocks for sell?

Look on ebay or EXriders for a set of 400ex front shocks. I picked up a set of take offs for $75 that were like new. They are a little better shock than the stock 250r ones and fit fine. The rear 400ex shock has an attached reservoir and will not fit on the 250r's. Not enough room. You can usually find a used rebuilt stock one on ebay for a reasonable price or have any good bike shop rebuild yours. I had mine done in Sparks, Nevada a couple years ago by Motorcycle Performance Specialist for about $175.
