Shocker lost a front tire (bummer)
and my daughter got a 3rd (out of five) also. Not bad for her first race!

So she took 2nd total huh?CONGRATS, my when i hit that guy and i poped my tire that sucked, heres what happened, i pased this guy on a ste-up and a double he passed me off the straight away cut in front of me through the whoops, he started tp hish tail it and he was about a quad length in front of me, then he dumped the bike i hit his rear end, my left front tire poped on we think his rotor, then without knowing i had a flat got back on the track, whent of this 30-40' table and my suspension compressed compressing the flat tire and it through me off crooked and i tail whip nose dived in to the table luckily i landed it very hard, but hey it alright i got some 20x6x10 holeshots for $100, but not in time for my seceond moto, but hey i got 4th out of the holeshot out of 14 people, and thats against a couple 450's and 2 250ex's and i dont remember what else,

i finally did that huge double, i did it 1 bad time (kased it), and then i did it 2 times, i got it on film, i will post when my stupid computer stops running slow,

I was there today, would've liked to meet all you guys from this site. I did meet SHOCKER, I only recognized him because he always posts pics. Maybe I'll meet the rest of you guys next time... did you know there's another race next weekend, I think its one the Douglas Wheels races.

Shocker you shouldn't be racing without a kidney belt, and they are not as expensive as a video game. Safety first my friend.

Oh by the way you think that hurt, landing this with stock suspension is no fun, my feet hurt and my right ankle is sore, so is my back, its worth it, man my 1st atempt at the double its like a table but it still dips in the middle and it hurt pretty bad but my 2nd and 3rd try rocked, i love the air time and how it has a great lip that shoots you hihg, like all the other jumps dont feel anything like the double

Hehehehe no kidney belt for next trip, because my next trip might be this weekend my friend 85q he was on the red and black 250r this weekend with the red ranger next to me this weekend the 10th is the dirt days of summer sponsored by douglas wheels and he said if he can get 5-6 people they would make a open b class for just us, so im going to try and sell stuff and get some money to pay him for some gas and then to enter the race, there will be him and his brother and then their cuz and another friend then me, bring your daughter out and she can race with us, it will be onl us though no one else, i think it will be really fun, 5-6 or a couple more would be great, if ya can make it out, there will be a freestyle demo after the races of the bombsquad with hopefully a back flip from jon guetter, and if we do good in the races theres lots of money for prizes and i think there is free food, i will get more info soon

Tron - Thanks a MILLION for the parts! I don't drink but I'll DEFINITELY be buying the beer & food for the next several rounds (no drinking while riding of course).
And your daughter?!?! Dayom! 1st time racing.. Had you not told me that, I DEFINITELY wouldn't have believed that! She was flying out there and her & the girl on the Kawi DEFINITELY had the best race of the day - BY FAR! I think watching them two dice it out was more fun than being out there myself! Ok, maybe not. But still, tell her I said nice ride!
Shocker - Not sore one bit. I'm now starting to wonder if I rode fast enough. Well, obviously I didn't but, it was still fun. I think practicing on the El Cajon track on Monday nights has helped (you should try it). And Trons right... You GOTTA get a kidney belt. You should really be wearing every piece of safety equipment available. So sell your stuff for $$$ but instead of gas, buy a kidney belt.

i know but my mom didnt talk to me until after the race had started, so i was kind of upset, besides there was friken 12 others and thats way to many, now that i cleared that double im feeling alot better and cant wait to do the rythm sections

since i did the rythem sections, i feel more confident doing the big double

Wow, I would be very proud of my daughter to jump like that on her first race. Looks like she is higher than some of the guys that were racing that weekend. Nice pictures, would like to see her in the air with the winning checkered flag, that would be cool, maybe next time. Hey, nice air effinbees.

i do, with +2 a-arms and stock shocks, why? if ya want to race do it, your stock axle will be fine aslong as you dont have spacers on it

get your bike back together for this weekend, or ify a cant go this weekend, most of us are going back on the 24th

There's always the track out in El Cajon. It's more like a Supercross track and it's way fun! Quad practice is on Monday nights from like 5 - 9. They're working on having a Friday night race there for the quads too in the near future.

Hey i dont have to have a membership to ride at el cajon mx do i? how much is it to ride there monday?

IMSA are the people that used to hold the practices but they went out of business, bankrupt (per the guy at the gate). I still have my useless $20.00 IMSA card. Now, ECMX (I believe) is putting it on for now. As of the last few weeks, they do NOT require any membership. It's $2.00 for spectators and $20.00 to ride. It's open practice and the only bikes allowed are all quads and Vet motorcycles. Protective riding gear is all you need here. No additional equipment for the bike is required (No Nerfs, kill switch or # plates). You think the jumps at Elsinore MX were big. Wait 'till you ride here!
I can't make this Monday night but the following (19th) Monday I'll be there.

im racing quadcross at glen helen aug. 1, and monday im going to LEMX

man o man, it was a fun filled day at LEMX dirt days of summer, i came in 9th out of 13, it was an alright but i could of got 7th out of 13 if i did better my first moto, i did every jump, ill tell more in a diferent topic
