Woo hoo! We are VERY proud of her, she is always snapping AWESOME artistic pics with her cell phone and is taking photography in 8th grade. Her photo was selected to enter into a district wide contest that is judged by local art critics and is on display at a local arts center. We went to the Grand Opening tonight and she WON 1st PLACE for digital photography for all Mesa Junior High! Doug asked if maybe she could give him a few pointers . But we are all very proud even her little brother said she can take any picture and they always come out great (getting a compliment from your little brother=priceless) and he was very impressed. I will post pics up of her photo as soon as my damn email on cox decides to receive them.

Thanks all! She has a great eye for pics and said that this photo wasn't even her best, but the look on her face when walked into the hall and she found out she won 1st was WINNING. She got a really nice art chalk set for her prize and was stoked. It is REALLY cool that it was judged by REAL art "critics". Thank goodness that the Mesa school district isn't so PC that every one "wins" and they recognize true talent.

She has grown up a little since the last time you saw her Jules. Damn I am getting old....Sabrina is GRADUATING this year!
