Ok everyone....which bike do you like best for all around performance, handling, reliablity, etc. It may be time to buy my wife a new bike. We've been devoted Honda fans since the beginning, but the Yamaha is looking nice also.

Thanks in advance

My sister-in-law has a 300ex good little quad. How small is your wife? If she 5-7 and shorter I'd get the 300ex. Put a pipe on it and a k&n should be just right. Go to atvaction.com they have a 300ex with a yoshi pipe on it that would keep up with a stock 400ex.Just my thoughts

Does the Honda 300EX have reverse? We have a chick in our crew with Warrior and she likes it....especially when she sees everybody else without reverse getting off and muscling thier bikes around....when in tight spots.
It has plenty of power to get through the dunes as well....

I have owned both and there is no comparison on the two the honda out hanldes the warrior and seems to be an easier bike to ride. If it were me I would buy the honda.

Thanks for the info....after looking closer at both....we decided to stay with Honda...so we're get'n a new 300EX soon.

Thanks again!
Poiks
Keep in mind that the 300EX weighs more than the 400EX. If the smaller size, cost, and reverse are not issues, you may want to consider the 400.

Poiks makes a very good point my wife had ridden very little when we bought her quad and was a little reluctant at first when we bought her her 400ex and she is so glad that we didn't buy her a smaller bike. Just some things to think about. Besides who needs reverse anyways. Good luck with you choice.
