Hi to all.
I am looking into buying Quads for my grand kids. I have been looking at the Kasea line and others. If any of you have Kaseas please let me know what you think about them. Price, quality etc. My granddaughter is 10 but big for her age. She is a little over 5 feet tall and about 110 pounds. We rented an 80 for her last weekend because that’s all that was available. She had fun with it but it was a little small for her. I am now thinking along the line of a Yamaha Blaster for her. Would this be too much bike for her? My grand son is 6 and about 3 feet tall and weighs about 60 pounds. I am thinking about a 150 Kasea for him. Any suggestions or comments would be helpful. Thanks in advance for your help. Sandrat

The blaster is a great bike it is very easy to ride. I am also a big fan of the 300ex. This is what my 11 year old daughter rides it seems easier for her because of the electric start and reverse. The 300 also has a lot of room for growth. For your 6 year old I would go with the lt 80 great little bike and they have been around forever. Just my two cents. By the way if you still like the blaster my buddy has one for sale 2000 bike is in great shape $2200. Good luck

I would be looking at the Yamaha Breeze for the boy and the Honda 250ex for the girl.
When purchasing a bike you should think of how EZ it is to get parts. There are Honda and Yamaha dealers all over the country so parts and service are no problem. But with small companies like Kaseas or E/ton you will be hard pressed to find parts, so if you brake down that's it for the trip.

Mr Dune has some good advice there. My niece loved our Breeze and I ride with a family that have 3 of the 250EX and they think they are great.

Families in your situation most always choose the Honda 250 EX for the daughter, the Honda 90 or Yamaha baby Raptor for the boy.
The 250ex is automagic clutch and has such excellent engine brakeing it's like automatic brakeing,, Very docile power, absolutely excellent for a beginner.
The baby Raptor is really for a smaller kid than the Honda 90. It's more of a 50cc class type ride than the 80cc that it is.
The Kaseas hold less resale value, and have had mixed quality opinions, and slow parts support from reports of people that post here.
