Dune Carver posted that in early April, crazy for sure. Worth another look and a reminder to be careful around trucks. As a truck owner and driver, it drives me crazy when people choose to drive next to my tandems.

Would of happened with a car in front as well since it was running over an existing piece of wood on the road, not falling out of a truck....

Chances are that if a car had run it over it wouldn't have shot it into the air. But you never know.

That was just a small single axle trailer, pretty sure a car would of had the same effect if it hit the rear tire first, but since the trailer is wider, the truck wheels weren't able to hit it. In a car, the front wheels prob. would have hit first and threw the wood into the cars rocker panel first and would have maybe deflected it instead of hitting the vehicle behind, but like you said, you never know.

I've had rocks bounce from under cars up into my windshield.....
