Another thread got me to thinking, errrr craving really, a huge juicy hamburger.

Which to me means a trip to the "Jersey Burger" truck set up in a dirt lot about 1/2 mile from home. MAN that guy puts together the most delicious hamburgers I have EVER had by far. I mean at least 2x as good as who I would select as the next best. Just heavenly, and he's a cool dude too. Loves telling stories and has an obvious pride in the food he puts in front of his customers.


So it's share with the class day, where's your top notch hamburger joint?

Just mentioned this in the other burger thread, but I personally think 5 Guys cheeseburger, with my toppings of grilled mushrooms, and grilled onions, with cajun fries is the best for a fast food place. I think it tops In & Out, BK, Mickey D's, Wendys......

The best I've ever had, tuff to nail it down to just one.

Mad Madelines in Temecula is one of my favs.

Not sure if they are in other states, but we have a Goldie's out here that is the absolute bomb when it comes to burgers, I won't eat one anywhere else.....

Oh man this is tough. Original Tommy's chili burgers kicks ass, but Fathers Office is the Gold Standard in Los Angeles. I'm also big on Umami Burger, although having Giada De Laruentis hype it on Best Thing I Ever Ate has kinda ruined it for me . . .

The restaurant was adjacent to this..you would walk through the boat to order then sit in the restaurant to eat.

Pamplemoose steak house in Del Mar, SD. Ground Kobe beef burger with truffles its 25 bucks for it but its way worth it.

Haven't been to one in 15 years, but EZ TakeOut in Chino had the best burger and fries

My number one has always been In & Out...but I hear 5 guys is just as good or better...so tonight Im trying 5 guys to see just what it is all about...and fudruckers 1 pounder is pretty high on the list also...

X2 on Tommy's Has to be the original though, Beverly and Rampart. Only burger joint that I have been to, where there will be limo's in the parking lot, and a line at 2 a. m.!

Used to hit Hodads up every sunday. They lost their touch. If you are ever driving through "da hood" (city Heights), Canada Steak Burger, at 36th & University, has awesome burgers.

If I ever had a burger there I don't remember only something called a Roadraper!
I think the best burger I have had was at cheeseburgers in paradise in Maui

Home, because I, like everybody else, cook for myself, to my tastes,
Astro burger, used to be at 395 and 58 (I think) N of Adelanto,
In-N-Out, just a plain good burger (good busness and nothing but a burger, no frills)
5 Guys Burgers,
Heart Attack grill, just because the burger meat is tasty by itself.
Last but certainly not least, Mulligan's Sports Bar. The burgers are 1/3 lb or 1/2 lb, drippy good (because of the toppings) and they have like 25 different ones on the menu.

OK, I had a 4 guys double cheese burger tonight..it was pretty good. It tasted very fresh and home made..

But I think Im still leaning towards an in & Out Burger...

we just got one of those places by my house and its been overpacked since the day it opened. I'll have to give it a try.

25 degrees in HB or Hollywood. The liquor shakes are pretty good as well.
