What’s up with the racing in El Cajon? That would be a much easier drive for me than Lake Elsinore.

What’s that mean?
SHOCKER
they will be hard on ya and you will have to follow strict (spelling?) AMA rules
Effinbees77
You can go to the AMA website and check out the rules they have. Things like a kill switch, nerf bars, number plates with (I believe) 7" or 8" numbers on the front & rear and vertically mounted will be checked and enforced. They also check things like wheel hubs for cotter keys, clamps on all fuel hoses, check to make sure nothing is loose and dangerous, etc. etc.
SHOCKER
I just need to buy some expensive number now, im thinking of going to like homedepot and finding some 7" mail box numbers, they are probably alot cheaper icon_smile.gif im a cheap bastard
LateNate
This is not a joke and I can’t see why they would but would they have a problem with my quad having zero fenders on it? I would just have to make some number plates.

Never mind...fount this while reading the rules!

ATV fenders must extend to cover a portion of the rear tires.

Damn... laughing.gif
They must have seen me coming too because that’s a new rule for this year.
And now what exactly is a portion? blink.gif

Will they accept cardboard and duct tape? icon_biggrin.gif

Fenders prevent the mud and rocks from flying into the other racers. When they water the track, things start flying, and you can only have so many tear offs...
