Algodones Dunes Sunflower
The Algodones Dunes Sunflower is a beautiful, silver-leafed member of the sunflower family. It is known only to the Algodones dunes system. It blooms March through May, and again from October through January. They grow in deep soft sand along the sides of large dunes, and are very tolerant of moving sand. Please keep an eye out for the Dunes Sunflower, it is Slappy’s favorite.
