Well the season is almost here for us in the Northwest. My question to you guys is??? What would you say would be the things I should do before this season???????? Right now I've got my Raptor in the garage and have all the plastic off of it. I'm looking over everything I see and am checking it for cracks and rust. I'm also gonna use alot of lube for the a-arms,swingarm,etc... But for my wifes 400ex. I have a few ideas but I'd like to know if you know of something else. I plan on taking apart her a-arms "since honda didn't make them with grease zirts on them" then I was thinking of taking the swing arm off anf using a little lube on it at various places. Any thing else? I also will have the valves adjusted, and change oil,and clean the air filter before we go to the dunes. Thanks for the time.

That is a good idea to grease the pivots of the a arms and swing arm. The big four manufacturers are notorious for using the bare minimum amount of grease. They don't want their production lines getting extra lube I suppose. The steering stem could use a shot of grease also. Change the fluids while your at it. That includes coolant on the raptor. Aside from that and tightening any loose nuts and bolts you find, you should be set. The only other thing would be to clean out the carbs but you don't need to do that unless it won't start.
