I'm interested. If it's all Mondays (and not just the 20th) I'll be there on the 27th!

Did anyone go last Monday ? How was it ? What's the price ? Any info appreciated.
Chummin
I saw on the schedule it was last monday. Have not seen where they will do it each monday..
I called and there is no mention of it becoming a weekly deal.
There is a chance we will go to the track tonight and I will get the 'low down' and report back.

Price is 20 to ride, 10 minis, 2 to watch.
there is a one time 10 insurance fee (annual) to pay to ride. Many tracks require it now.

I was out there the 20th and it was awesome. The reason that they decided to open it up was because my group and the guys at DUNCAN rented the track mid-december and had a good turnout. When we asked them if we could rent it again, they said that they would open it up that monday to quads as a test to see if there was any interest. Well, needless to say, the parking lot was full the stands were full and they decided that there was enough want for it to be open. I can clear all of the jumps out there, except for one. The only part that gives the quads trouble is the new whoops section. Also, as far as I know your have to be 18 to ride quads because they can't get the same insurance. I can't wait to see some of you guys out there.

See Ya

How big are the jumps out there? [Confused]

If you are a good jumper out in the dunes,I would say that you could at the very least make a few of the jumps. Cory Ellis Doug Eichner and some other pro/semi-pro riders were out there showing us how its done.

TBR Products and GPR will be renting the track in a few weeks. We will have free food and drinks. I will post the date when it is confirmed.

I have released the full year schedule for atv mx at the el cajon mx park, it can be found on Devin's (track owners) website www.elcajonmx.com, or you can pick one up at your local m/c shop, I.E. motoworld (smitty in sales), ricky stator, duncan...

after i rented the track in december i got the idea we could do this on a regular bases if i could get hte owner motivated...well 2nd practice 85 quads and 300 spectators...he was definately impressed!

If you have any more questions, comments, or suggestions on how i can make it better let me know, email me matt515@hotmail.com, or call me at 619-665-7695 (my voicemail usually has track updates).

The track layout has been changed again (march 16th), it is definately more quad friendly now, they got rid of the sx style rythm after the hole jump. I appreciate all of the attendance we are getting, its great to have the sport finally local! thanks to all of you who participate, and i look forward to seeing you all out there. feel free to come up and let me know who you are, im on the black/white ltz #13

...BTW thanks again chummin for the great photos from this past monday, next even will be MARCH 24th from 5:30 to 9:00pm,

20$ at the gate, IMSA year membership required (10$ for hte year),

age limit of 16 and over due to manufacturer age mandates (BS i know...but the owner doenst need a law suit...know a better way? PLEASE! let me know, kids are the future of this sport)
