Lookin to freshen up my shocks. Replace oil and seals who does that i am in the lakewood area of So Cal. Race runner coilovers What is the going rate to do those now days? who can You trust? Thanks Robert

Good question. I have Race Runners and I talked to Mirage Racing today. I'm sending my whole car there. They are going to go through them all.

You can buy the seal rebuild kits for about $35 at mckenzies. There are a few shops that can rebuild them for you for about $75 each maybe less. Geoff falzone from Giant Motorsports in Seal beach builds mine for me. He's been in the desert industry for years. The best thing to do is to do is film a side drive by of your car going through some whoops and then watch it in slow motion. You can see what the shocks are doing a and if they need more rebound or more compression then have them revalved while they are replacing the seals. Most likely the need more rebound. I like my shocks to fall at the speed of gravity but tighten up on hard compression.
