You mean odor? Make sure the ice chest is dry. Don't fully close it. Maybe baking soda?

Yeah, it's mildew. You can clean yours with a mild bleachwater solution to kill what's in there. Then, store it with the lid open so any water evaporates.

order the biggest one you can, cant run out of beverages ya know
Couple of ideas.
Bleach and water
Baking soad and water
Lemon juice and water
Dishsoap and water.
I would opt for the bleach and water. Make sure and rinse it good afterwards and leave it open to dry completely.

maybe you have a small/tiny crack inside and the water is leaking into the insulation and not drying very fast, causing the odor.
dunno......if no crack, then bleach/water///////// or clorox clean up spray....

x2..
Even left with cheese and BL in it for weeks the odor will go away once it is emptied and washed with soap and water and dried. If there is a lingering smell, you have a leak into the insulation.

I clean mine with mild bleach water, let dry, then wipe interior with a lil vanilla extract. Sounds funny but plastic absorbs the smell

Clean out when you get home, leave open over night to let dry, pull drain plug and put a box of baking soda inside when you store it.

Bleach and water to clean it first then drain and store with the lid cracked open and drain plug open and leave some some papertowels inside it....
